Nuapada, September 23: In an innovative move aimed at strengthening the learning outcomes of students and preparing them for higher education and competitive examinations, Nuapada Collector Madhusudan Dash has launched a new initiative under the ‘Sambhabana-2027’ programme.
Under the initiative, district- and block-level officers and employees will visit designated schools and directly engage with students through classroom teaching and academic interactions.
The decision follows the resolution taken at the district-level review meeting held on September 3. Accordingly, the Collector has issued directions for officials and employees to visit the schools tagged to them as per the prescribed schedule and conduct classes.
The role of the officials will extend beyond classroom teaching. They will focus on strengthening students’ conceptual understanding, academic preparedness and overall learning progress. The officials will also interact with students and teachers to identify learning needs, provide academic guidance and motivate students towards better educational performance.
As part of the initiative, the officials will also guide students on higher education opportunities and career prospects, helping them develop greater confidence and clarity about their future.
The programme will be implemented in coordination with headmasters and teachers. Officials will review the academic progress of students during their visits and work closely with school authorities for the smooth implementation of the initiative.
A brief record of the classes conducted and other academic activities undertaken during each school visit will also be maintained. Officials will submit reports detailing their visits, academic engagements and the progress of the students.
The initiative is being viewed as a significant and innovative effort in the education sector of Nuapada, as it directly connects government officials and employees with the classroom learning process.
Through ‘Sambhabana-2027’, the district administration aims to strengthen students’ learning abilities, boost their confidence and enhance their preparedness for higher education and future career opportunities.
