Sinapali’s Young Scientists Inspire with Innovative Models at *Jnana Bigyana Mela*

A vibrant atmosphere of innovation, curiosity, and scientific learning marked the School-Level Jnana Bigyana Mela (Science and Knowledge Exhibition ) held at Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir, Sinapali, on Saturday. The event provided an excellent platform for students to exhibit their scientific ideas, creativity, and problem-solving skills through a wide range of innovative projects. The programme was inaugurated by Cluster Head Tulasi Ram Meher, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the students, he highlighted the significance of science fairs in nurturing scientific thinking, creativity, and practical knowledge among young learners. He encouraged students to continue exploring new ideas and contribute positively to society through innovation. Among the distinguished guests were Narahari Meher, President of the School Management Committee, and Girish Chandra Naik, Secretary of the Committee. Both appreciated the enthusiasm and talent displayed by the students and motivated them to pursue excellence in science and education. The projects were evaluated by an experienced panel of judges comprising science educators Basudev Bishi, Rakesh Kumar Kata, Jitendra Sahu, Jnanaranjan Sunani, Dipak Kumar Sa, and Dhirendra Kumar Sa, who assessed the exhibits on the basis of originality, scientific approach, presentation, and practical application. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Headmaster Charan Netam, while teacher Swapna Kumar Kand efficiently coordinated the event. The vote of thanks was delivered by Secretary Girish Chandra Naik and teacher Manmohan Panda, expressing gratitude to the guests, judges, teachers, students, and parents for making the event a grand success. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted under the supervision of Competition In-charge Bishnusharan Hota. Teachers Debashish Naik, Jagadish Naik, and the entire faculty actively contributed to the smooth management of the programme. A total of 238 innovative projects were exhibited during the fair, reflecting the students’ creativity, scientific aptitude, and environmental awareness. Outstanding participants were honoured with prizes and certificates in recognition of their remarkable performances. The successful organised of the Jnana Bigyana Mela once again demonstrated Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir, Sinapali’s commitment to promoting experiential learning, scientific temperament, and holistic development among students, inspiring them to become the innovators and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
